Where:

The villa is located in a quiet neighbourhood on 1.5 acres, with gorgeous mountain and valley views.  20 minutes to the pacific coastal beaches of Dominical where there is a large variety of restaurants, bars, beach clubs and much more.  They are all family friendly and would suit any age. Also ten minutes to the beautiful town of Platanillo and 3 hours from San Jose airport on the easy coastal road, the Pan American Highway.

We have our own mini hike on the grounds down to our forest canopy (all year round) with a fresh water river.  It is quiet with a mix of locals and foreign friendly neighbours.  The local shops, schools, restaurants, police, church & medical clinic are (1.5 Km) 10 minutes walk away, with a mix of small local supermarkets for everyday goods.

Logistics:

You will need to book your own flight to Costa Rica, and the best airport to fly into is San Jose - your flight is not included in the retreat price. We highly recommend arriving the day before and spending a day in San Jose to ensure you arrive on time for the retreat.

The house is 1 km from the main road on a very good road that is partially paved and it will not be necessary to access with a 4x4, however for Costa Rica in general, this is always recommended. Rentals cars are available to collect in Dominical or Uvita if you would rather not drive the Pan American Highway from San Jose.  We can provide you local taxi drivers details, used and trusted who will collect you from San Jose and return you to the airport should you wish.

Our retreats hold up to 8 people max, so you will enjoy the beauty of a small, intimate group size.

• 2 x gentle yoga/meditation/somatic movement classes each day - 1 in the morning (before breakfast) and one in the evening (before dinner). Yoga Style will vary between Gentle Flow/Restorative/Meditation/Yin/Somatic Movement.

• Breakfast and dinner served daily by our local onsite chef (included) - (lunch is not included)

• Comfortable, lose clothing or whatever you usually wear for yoga/meditation/breathwork practices

• Water bottle for keeping you hydrated

• A yoga mat to sit on and anything else you might want for your practices

• Sunscreen

• Insect repellant if you are prone to attracting mosquito bites!

• A notepad and pen for journaling

• A book to read - something you can immerse yourself in

• 2 person room sharing - $3,233 CDN per person (private bathroom)

Cancellation Policy:

Any cancellations made 3 months prior to the retreat start date will be issued a full refund. 2 months prior will be issued a 50% refund. After this, payments are non-refundable, unless you can fill your spot. Should the retreat need to be cancelled by us, your entire payment will be refunded. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance and travel insurance for any unforeseen circumstances.
